St. Francis' Defense Too Much for Holy Trinity (8th Grade Girls)

A strong defensive effort by St. Francis of Assisi generated a 35-17 win over Holy Trinity in the eighth grade girls basketball tournament. 

St. Francis of Assisi limited Holy Trinity to just four points in the first half. Gabbie M. and Katie P. combined for 27 points for St. Francis of Assisi. Gabbie M. also added seven rebounds.

Holy Trinity outscored St. Francis of Assisi 9-7 in the fourth quarter but their efforts were too late. Sarah K. scored 10 points for Holy Trinity.
