The St. Paschal Knights and St. Francis Lions faced off to open their respective weekends at the Morrissey Classic.
The Lions offense exploded early, but the Knights found ways to keep themselves in the game. At the half St. Francis led 17-9.
The Lions offense kept it going in half two as they pulled ahead 41-21 midway through the fourth quarter.
Emon Everett led the way with 17 points and double digit rebounding for St. Francis. For St Francis it was Joey Puletti with 6 points. St. Francis took the win 45-23 in game one.
