Both teams started out relatively slow, but things began to pick up after Devontey Perkins came in with the first basket of the game.
Keeping with this lead throughout the second quarter, Devontey Perkins continued to add to the score with a lay up and showed great initiative with seven rebounds. Guy Dominick brought the team’s focus back together after a layup of his own.
Things started to pick up as St. Raphael began to apply the pressure and stack up their points. Game score came in at 7:6.
Game came to a complete turn around as St. Raphael takes the lead. Incredible as the team dominated the court, with Rowan Kelly after he scored seven points and Owen McGurer added with 6, score came in at 7 to 21.
During the third quarter, Our Lady of the Lake was hard at work as they attempted to take back their lead, with Henry Gonakis with a layup. Despite their efforts, St. Raphael still held fast to their lead at 29 to 16 points.
Rounding out the final quarter of the game, Guy Dominick diligently put in the effort to bring up the game score to 20 to 29, but St. Raphael competitively followed up with a 3 which only added to their own lead. Final score comes in at 23 to 39, with St. Raphael taking home the win.
