With a St. Pascal win of the tip, the 7th grade championship was underway.

The Green Knights would open up the game on a 8-0 run, with four of those points coming from Tristian Lee.

In need of a quick response, Holy Trinity’s Kevin Bee tallied the first points of the afternoon for his team with a right wing three pointer.

Following a steal, a bucket in transition by St. Pascal forced Holy Trinity to call their first timeout of the evening trailing 16-5 with 12:54 to go in the first half.

Tristian Lee continued to build upon his impressive night. With 6:00 remaining, Lee got free in the paint thanks to a pretty euro step, extending the Green Knights lead to the largest of the night, up 30-16 with five minutes left before the halftime break.

After a commanding first half performance, St. Pascal took a 32-19 lead into halftime.

Lee, adding to his game-leading point total notched the first four points of the second half extending the Green Knights lead to 35-19 five minutes in.

With 10 minutes remaining in the game, St. Pascal continued to ride a 12-0 run to open the final frame, holding Holy Trinity scoreless in the second half at the midway point.

With 4:37 remaining, Holy Trinity would finally break through with their first points of the second half. Rocco Duray connected with a floater just outside of the paint making the St. Pascal lead 51-21.

Led by a 21 point effort from Tristian Lee, the Green Knights cruised to a Morrissey Classic 7th grade Championship victory with a convincing 57-25 win.
